PRIEST SERVICES
Priests can be contacted to conduct:
- Private Puja / Katha at your house or office
- Wedding Ceremonies
- Death Ceremonies

FUNERAL SERVICES
For assistance on any funeral matters and to circulate memos to the community, contact the Hindu Society Administrator Mr Hemant Thakersi on +263 24 2778405 / 2740853 / +263 773 650 850
The following documents will be required for obtaining the necessary cremation permit:
- ID or passport of the deceased.
- Death certificate with CR 3 form.

The following items will be provided by the Hindu Society and are to be collected from the Administrator on Anson Road:
- Wood for the pyre. This is to be collected and delivered to the Pioneer Cemetery well before the funeral.
- A package of ritual items (to be advised).
- Two buckets for water at Pioneer cemetery. The buckets are to be returned to the Society after use.
- Prayer leaflets for use at the Pioneer cemetery. These are to be returned to the Society.
- Iron rods for the pyre cart. These should be collected together with the wood and delivered to Pioneer cemetery. These rods should be returned to the Society after use.
The family should arrange fresh flowers and 6 coconuts for the funeral.
