The construction of the new Sports Pavilion marks an exciting new chapter in the history of Westridge Primary School. The planning and construction of the pavilion is the culmination of the vision and determination of Board members, who put their energy and time into its realisation. It is a fantastic achievement by all involved.
The Grand Opening Ceremony took place on Tuesday 26 March 2024 and was attended by several of the Hindu Society Trustees, Members of the Executive Committee, Members of the Board of Governors of Westridge Schools, parents, teachers and students.
The transformative pavilion will offer modern changing, meeting and storage amenities for players and officials. In addition, the new pavilion will house an Innovation Centre for the promotion of Robotics and Coding, a Lecture Room and Offices for the Sports Department, as well as a panoramic Viewing Gallery on the upper floor to accommodate guests and visitors during Sports Days, Sporting Festivals and Swimming Galas during the course of the year.
The Pavilion is a significant milestone in the continuing development of WestridgeSchool and in particular the nurturing of the sporting talent that Westridgehas come to be renowned for.
